About

Jesalyn Eatchel is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, (LCS 27613) energy healing practitioner, yoga and meditation teacher and women’s circle leader. Jesalyn has always loved school -think teacher’s pet and lots of excitement about school supplies! Years of school learning have shaped her life and career but she places equal emphasis on the learning that comes from hands-on experience, travel, jumping right in, and making mistakes. She is a native San Diegan who lived in the Bay Area for a bit and is now home in sunny San Diego with her husband, daughter and orange tabby. She loves spending time with family and friends, practicing yoga, singing, traveling and cooking healthy vegetarian food, preferably enjoyed with a nice glass of wine.

Jesalyn knew from a very young age that she wanted to help others. She was a peer helper in middle school and high school before choosing her path of study in college. She has worked for many years in mental health and has supported individuals of all ages, couples, families and groups to navigate the challenges associated with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia and substance abuse.

Jesalyn’s maternal grandmother introduced her to yoga when she was in high school and she immediately felt an energetic opening. It was clear to her that moving the body in that way had a profound impact on her overall well-being. When she later had her first Reiki session she described the feeling as “coming out of my body in the best way possible” She quickly made the decision to study energy healing further and attributes Reiki and energy work to helping her heal emotional wounds. This immense healing allowed her to invite in the love of her life and create a business sharing this healing.

Jesalyn has experienced and studied various different healing techniques outside of traditional therapy and consistently sees benefits in herself and her clients. Although social work and traditional talk therapy methods are Jesalyn’s foundation, she strongly believes a holistic approach is the best way to sustain lasting positive changes.

Because of the early influence of being raised by a single mother and also experiencing the healing benefits of sisterhood, Jesalyn is honored to consider bringing women together a big part of her path.
